33rd Annual IATUL Conference at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is delighted to have the honour of hosting the 2012 IATUL Conference in Singapore, a first in Asia. We invite you to our lovely Yunnan Garden campus for a few days of stimulating discussion on how academic libraries can successfully engage users in a multifaceted and rapidly changing information environment. In an age of abundant information on tap, libraries need to re-define their relationship with their users if we are to remain their valuable partners in learning and research.

We look forward to welcoming delegates, speakers and distinguished guests to our university which is set in a green, lush and vibrant campus. NTU is a highly ranked research intensive institution with 33,000 students and 3,300 teaching and research staff from more than 90 countries.

Delegates will have good opportunities to meet and interact with academic librarians from all over the world as is typical in IATUL gatherings. Singapore is a perfect place for this as it is an international city and a major crossroad of the world. Our formal as well as social programmes will ensure that you get the best out of your stay in Singapore.

For participants who would like to submit papers and posters, please refer to the Call for Papers section. Further information on the programme, registration, accommodation and events will be progressively put up as information becomes available.

We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting event in Singapore in June 2012.

With best wishes
